Alonso reckons Barcelona podium 'a little bit too far away'
Fernando Alonso believes he can bring home a healthy bag of points from Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix, but scoring a podium might be a bridge too far the Aston Martin charger. Alonso rued an off-track excursion in Q1 that damaged the floor of his AMR23 and another off in Q3 at the same spot, with the sum of his errors costing him a potential spot on the front row of the grid alongside pacesetter Max Verstappen. "P2, probably even with the floor as it was," he explained. "Because in the Q3 lap I was coming for 12.7s until Turn 10.
