Alfa Romeo announce replacement for Frederic Vasseur

Things are beginning to fall into place for Alfa Romeo since the departure of Frederic Vasseur, who was both team principal of the side and also CEO of the Sauber Group. Following the Frenchman's switch to Ferrari to replace Mattia Binotto, it was quickly announced in December that former McLaren team principal Andreas Seidl would take on the role of CEO of the Sauber Group. Whilst announcing Seidl as CEO, it was confirmed at the time that he wouldn't also be taking the role of team principal, with the German set to fully focus on preparing the Hinwil-based team for their 2026 merge with Audi.
