Hamilton: Early championship conclusions 'never great' for F1

Article To news overview © XPBimages With Max Verstappen on the verge of a second F1 Drivers' Championship, Lewis Hamilton believes that it is "a shame" when championship battles are concluded before the end of the season. Red Bull's Verstappen currently leads the Drivers' Championship by 116 points over Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and, if results fall his way, he will secure a second title in Singapore. The season had threatened to be a contest between Red Bull and Ferrari but, with the latter failing to secure a win in the last five races, Red Bull and Verstappen are now the firm favourites for both championships.
