Formula 1 world pays tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
Formula 1 paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth on the occasion of her passing today, joining the world in mourning the passing of the British monarch. The news was also confirmed on the official Royal website: 'The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.' F1, in a statement released shortly before the news was confirmed: 'Formula 1 mourns the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. For more than seven decades she dedicated her life to public service with dignity and devotion, and inspired so many around the world.
