Michael Masi signed NDA with FIA as he opens up on ‘dark days'

Former race director Michael Masi reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) after his removal as race director by the FIA. Masi was the centre of controversy at last season’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix when he made a bizarre call to allow a limited number of lapped runners to pass the Safety Car ahead of the final lap. Sir Lewis Hamilton had been leading Max Verstappen at the time, and was on course to claim his eighth crown after he pair had entered the final round of the season level on points.
