Sainz can't join Red Bull duo on podium: 'Lost downforce'

Carlos Sainz had the car to score a podium finish in Barcelona, but he failed to do so in his home Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver spun early in the race after a gust of wind, losing more multiple spots and more than ten seconds. Sainz is critical of himself after Sunday's fourth-place finish. "Too bad, it was a bad race from start to finish. I had a lot of problems with my balance, but especially that gust of wind in Turn 4 was something I didn't anticipate very well, which caused me to end up in the gravel," Sainz said to Soymotor.com after the race.
