Norris and Sainz both start with brand new chassis in Spain

Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz will drive with a new chassis from the third free practice. The former suffered extensive floor damage yesterday after hard contact with the kerbs. Sainz was diagnosed with a problem with the fuel system, so Ferrari is taking the safe bet. Norris was setting a fast lap in the second free practice session, but in Turn 9 he went hard over the kerbs. He did not return to action in the session. McLaren is sending Norris out on Saturday with a whole new chassis, but whether that is the consequence of his broken floor is unknown.
