'Alpine wants to make choice between Alonso and Piastri around British GP'

Fernando Alonso, at forty years old, is a real old hand in Formula 1, but the Spaniard has indicated that he does not want to quit for the time being. His team Alpine has a choice between Alonso and Oscar Piastri for 2023. During the British GP more may become known about that. Piastri or Alonso at Alpine? Esteban Ocon is contracted to Alpine F1 until 2024, but the contract of the two-time world champion expires at the end of this year. Motorsport.com reports that Alonso has the best papers to capture the seat for the next few years.
