Ocon responds to social media backlash after police video
Article To news overview © Alpine Esteban Ocon has issued a short statement to clarify that he was at the wheel of an Alpine A110 delivered to French police force Gendarmerie Nationale. The police force are taking delivery of 26 Alpine A110 cars as their rapid intervention vehicle, with Ocon heading along to accompany the handover of the first of the machines from Renault to the Gendarmerie. Taking the opportunity to carry out some donuts, his antics attracted negative attention from members of the public who went on social media to complain.
