Kvyat tested the new Pirelli 18-inch wheels: "Vital information".

In 2022 Pirelli will finally start supplying the long awaited 18 inch wheels to F1. Daniil Kvyat drove the final tests for Alpine F1 team before finalizing the development of the tire. F1 is almost ready too In 2018 the choice was already made by F1 to switch to the 18 inch tyres in the new era. Because of corona the introduction has been postponed from 2021 to 2022. In F2, the big wheels are already being driven, but F1 is now also ready for them after the final tests, according to Pirelli's tweets. In 2018, Pirelli predicted that F1 could go as much as three seconds faster with these new and larger tyres. That remains to be seen. Daniil Kvyat was able to show today at the French Circuit...
