"I’m sure we could have 35 races if the promoter got his way"
In 2022 we will have the longest Formula 1 calendar in the history of the sport. No less than 23 races are scheduled for the teams, which also has its drawbacks. For the teams and their staff it will be more intense than ever. Dwindling calendar Christian Horner also sees the ever-lengthening series of Grands Prix, and particularly points out the need to strike the right balance between the commercial interests of the sport and the welfare of the people involved.
