Hamilton thinks black Mercedes no longer necessary: "It was the silver arrows"

Mercedes introduced a new livery in 2020, and chose to make it entirely in black. That choice was motivated by Lewis Hamilton's anti-racism messages. The team chose to keep the black livery in 2021 as well, but Hamilton says he has no problems with a possible return of the silver livery. Asked for his opinion on a possible return to the silver look, the world champion says he has nothing against it. "I don't really have an opinion on it," he told Motorsport.com.
