Teams' reactions after the opening day at Sochi

Mercedes tends to go well at this track which is underlined by the fact that the Anglo-German team has never been beaten at Sochi since the inaugural Russian Grand Prix that took place in 2014. The opening day of this year’s race at Sochi indicated that the picture will hardly be any different to that of the past. After winning last year’s event, Valtteri Bottas certainly picked up where he left off in Sochi, topping both sessions on the opening day.
