Support for Verstappen: 'My opinion is that Hamilton was the culprit'

The British Grand Prix saw a heavy crash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton as early as the first lap. The Dutchman was the victim and had to leave the track, while Hamilton was the winner with a ten second penalty. Giedo van der Garde watched the moment in disbelief, he told Formula 1 Café on Ziggo Sport. "Of course it was a serious and violent crash," the former driver stated, who found it remarkable that Verstappen got out of his car quite quickly. "I thought it was incredible that he got out so quickly. That was the bizarre thing though."
