Silverstone Sprint: Formula 1 steps into the unknown

Heading into the first ever Sprint Qualifying session in Formula 1 history at Silverstone this afternoon, it is difficult to know exactly what to expect from the new, experimental format. While Friday qualifying was a great spectacle that clearly got a raucous Silverstone crowd excited, we will get more of an understanding come 17:00 local time as to whether this idea really has any legs.
