Ferrari to commemorate anniversary of first F1 win at Silverstone

At the British Grand Prix, Ferrari will have a celebration to mark the 70th anniversary of their first win in Formula 1. The Italian team have won a total of 238 wins in Formula 1 since the sport began in 1950, more than any other constructor. The first of them came courtesy of Jose Froilan Gonzalez at the British Grand Prix taking place on 14 July 1951, 70 years prior to this year's race at the British circuit.  To celebrate that fact, the car he did it in, the 375 F1, has been restored and sent from Maranello to Silverstone and will be driven by Charles Leclerc ahead of the race.
