Tom Cruise in need of speed at Goodwood

If you feel the need… the need for speed, who do you call? Well, the Duke of Richmond is undeniably a man that has all the right connections for anyone looking for a blast of high-octane fun, and Goodwood is his domain. Hollywood star Tom Cruise paid the Festival of Speed a visit on its final day, but the 'Top Gun' and 'Mission: Impossible' topliner – who tested a Red Bull F1 car a few years back – steered clear of racing up the hill. But he was on hand alongside the Duke of Richmond to witness the run onboard a 1982 Williams FW08 of Wade Eastwood, the man behind most of Cruise's badass stunts in 'Mission: Impossible' and the star's driving coach.
