Verstappen on battle with Hamilton: 'I’m enjoying it'
Max Verstappen is in contention for the world title with Lewis Hamilton this season. Whereas the Englishman had an advantage in the early stages of 2021, the Red Bull Racing driver is now 32 points ahead of his rival. The Dutchman won again convincingly in Austria on Sunday afternoon. Verstappen set the fastest lap of the qualifying session and never relinquished his leading position. Hamilton did try to get closer to Verstappen, but the seven times world champion had to give up early due to a defect in his car.
