Renault joins Esports with Vitality, Ocon to appear

Renault has teamed up with its Esports partner, Team Vitality, for a virtual event, in which Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon will participate. Motorsport has been suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with Formula 1’s next scheduled event the Canadian Grand Prix in mid-June. The event’s postponement is likely to be confirmed this week. Instead several leading championships, including Formula 1, IndyCar and NASCAR, have launched virtual races to take place instead of real-life events.
