Alonso slams Aston Martin’s ‘very wrong’ calls in British GP

08/07/2025 at 15:2108/07/2025 at 13:03 Fernando Alonso didn’t hold back during last weekend’s British Grand Prix, voicing clear frustration over his Aston Martin team’s strategy decisions that he believes cost him a stronger result. Despite the Silverstone-based outfit securing their first double points haul of the season, with teammate Lance Stroll finishing seventh, Alonso’s discontent was clear, the Spaniard believing that a missed opportunity had been thwarted by Aston’s strategists.
