Maverick joins Sonny Hayes on F1’s London red carpet

24/06/2025 at 12:4524/06/2025 at 13:11 ©Formula1 Monday evening’s UK premiere of F1 The Movie brought together engines and afterburners, as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell paid a surprise visit to his good friend Sonny Hayes at the red carpet event. The blockbuster-level reunion at Cineworld in Leicester Square in London saw Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise flanked by director Joseph Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and F1 boss Stefano Domenicali during the photocall moment. With everyone trading grins faster than a lap at Silverstone, the premiere was a pure adrenaline affair. As a reminder, F1 fans can catch the action in UK cinemas from June 25.
