FIA explain Max Verstappen penalty controversy as Oscar Piastri takes charge
Oscar Piastri claimed victory in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to snatch the lead of the F1 drivers' title, whilst Max Verstappen was left furious after receiving a five-second time penalty for an incident on the first lap. The FIA explained post-race why a penalty was awarded. Elsewhere, Lando Norris recovered to fourth as Charles Leclerc claimed a surprise third for Ferrari.
