Wehrlein inherits Miami E-Prix win after late red flag

Phillip van Osten 13/04/2025 at 13:3713/04/2025 at 15:15 Saturday’s Miami E-Prix delivered a late twist at Homestead-Miami Speedway as Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein snatched victory in Round 5 of the Formula E World Championship from poleman Norman Nato. The Nissan charger crossed the line first, but a gut-wrenching disqualification for missing his Attack Mode activations dropped him to sixth. Wehrlein, who’d battled to second on the road, claimed his eighth Formula E win, and was joined on the podium by Lucas di Grassi (Lola Yamaha ABT) in second and teammate Antonio Felix da Costa in third.
