Williams releases video of Carlos Sainz's debut drive at Abu Dhabi
F1 Grand Prix, GP United States, Circuit of The Americas Ahead of his debut with the Grove-based outfit, Williams have revealed a video of Carlos Sainz' debut drive in the British team's 2024 F1 car, the FW46 at the Yas Marina Circuit. After Ferrari announced last February that seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton would replace Carlos Sainz from 2025, the Spaniard had been linked with several outfits. Following month-long paddock chatter, the talks ended in August when Williams confirmed that they secured the services of the three-time F1 race winner who will join the Grove-based outfit on a two-year agreement with options to extend.
