Rowland’s late charge steals the show at Mexico City E-Prix

Phillip van Osten 12/01/2025 at 12:1512/01/2025 at 12:02 ©FormulaE Nissan’s Oliver Rowland delivered a spectacular performance at the Mexico City E-Prix, Round 2 of the 2025 Formula E World Championship, snatching victory with a series of breathtaking late overtakes. Starting fourth after a qualifying mistake, Rowland bided his time, activating his final ATTACK MODE late in the race. Despite a Safety Car interruption, the Yorkshireman unleashed a stunning charge in the closing laps. On Lap 31, Rowland executed three masterful overtakes in half a lap, dispatching reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein, Season 9 winner Jake Dennis, and leader Antonio Felix da Costa with precision. ©FormulaE...
