Singapore GP: McLaren's Norris comfortably tops final practice

21/09/2024 at 11:4721/09/2024 at 11:56 Lando Norris was at the top of his game in Saturday’s final practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix, the McLaren driver setting the quickest lap by a wide margin. While the session was not representative of the conditions that drivers will find in qualifying later on at Marina Bay, Norris’ significant 0.479s advantage over Mercedes’ George Russell in second place was indicative of McLaren’s strength. Oscar Piastri completed the top three, while Max Verstappen in P4 was happier with his Red Bull’s behavior despite concluding the session 0.894s behind Norris.
