Sainz is a potential world champion, claims Ferrari’s Marc Gene

Former Minardi and Williams driver Marc Gene insists that his fellow Spanish racer Carlos Sainz has the talent and potential to become a Formula One world champion. Carlos Sainz is set to leave Ferrari at the end of the current season as the Scuderia elected to sign seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton to partner Charles Leclerc. The three-time grand prix winner took a long time to decide about his future, but he finally announced after the Belgian Grand Prix that hw would join Williams next year.
