FP3: Gasly tops final crash-interrupted practice
F1 Grand Prix, GP Netherlands, Circuit Park Zandvoort Alpine driver Pierre Gasly topped the final practice at the Dutch Grand Prix, beating Kevin Magnussen and Valtteri Bottas. F1technical's lead journalist Balázs Szabo reports from then Zandvoort circuit. Drivers were greeted by challenging, damp conditions in the third and final practice of the Dutch Grand Prix. Despite the tricky conditions, several drivers headed out on to the 4.2km track to assess the the grip level. The first drivers used Pirelli's wet weather tyres, but drivers quickly switched to the green-walled intermediates as the track conditions steadily improved.
