Porsche confirms it’s not interested in F1 anymore

Porsche’s motorsport boss Thomas Laudenbach confirmed that the German marque is not interested in joining the pinnacle of motorsport in the near future. Two years ago, Porsche and Red Bull have been working on a deal to join forces for the 2026 season when F1 introduces new engine regulations. However, that cooperation ultimately fell through as the German car maker wanted to acquire a 50 per cent stake in the Milton Keynes-headquartered outfit, but Red Bull was eager to maintain its independence.
