Hamilton predicts ‘one hell of a second half of the season’

Lewis Hamilton says Formula 1 is in for “one hell of a second half of the season” considering how many teams are capable of fighting for victories. Seven drivers from four different teams have won races in the opening 14 rounds this year, with Sergio Perez currently the only driver from Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes yet to record win. Hamilton has won two of the past three races – and Mercedes three of the past four – and said that having so many different teams and drivers in the fight has set things up beautifully for after the summer break. “It's great,” Hamilton said. “It's really fantastic, I think, for the sport to be having such close teams and drivers.
