Verstappen and Tsunoda Belgian GP grid penalties confirmed

26/07/2024 at 14:2726/07/2024 at 14:48 Red Bull and sister outfit RB have confirmed the introduction of new power unit elements for Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda for this weekend's Belgian GP and their respective grid penalties. Verstappen dominated Friday’s opening practice which bodes well for the Dutchman’s chances of claiming pole on Saturday. However, a best-case scenario will see the championship leader line up eleventh on the grid if he secures pole position given his 10-place sanction for taking on a fifth internal combustion engine.
