Evans steals thrilling Shanghai E-Prix win with last-lap pass

25/05/2024 at 11:1125/05/2024 at 10:22 Jaguar's Mitch Evans delivered a masterclass in strategy and opportunism to snatch victory in a dramatic finish to the Shanghai E-Prix. Starting third, Evans wasted no time, overtaking pole-sitter Vergne and both Nissan and Porsche drivers (Rowland, Wehrlein, and da Costa) by lap 7. The Porsches, however, were running strong as a team, utilizing ATTACK MODE strategically to maintain position while conserving energy. By mid-race, the Porsches, led by Wehrlein, surged back into the lead.
