Albers sees opening for Mercedes: 'Then Verstappen may well leave in '25''

Toto Wolff has by no means given up hope: the Austrian is quite willing to wait months before deciding which driver will sit next to George Russell at Mercedes in '25. It is no secret that Max Verstappen is at the top of Wolff's wish list. Unrealistic? Former F1 driver Christijan Albers believes it is not at all out of the question that the three-time champion will leave Red Bull after this season and opt for an adventure at Mercedes.
