Doohan father and son hit the track at Albert Park

Phillip van Osten 23/03/2024 at 05:1223/03/2024 at 05:07 As scheduled, motorcycle legend Mick Doohan is celebrating this weekend in Melbourne 30 years since winning the first of his five 500cc World Championship titles. To commemorate the achievement, the Aussie legend took to the track at Albert Park on Saturday morning saddling a modern MotoGP Honda RCV213 for a series of demo runs shared with his son, Alpine F1 reserve Jack Doohan who was at the wheel of a 2000 Benetton B200 F1 car. The moment of motorsport royalty was highly appreciated by the massive congregation of fans lining the circuit this weekend for the Australian GP.
