Imola sets Senna, Ratzenberger death anniversary plans

Article To news overview Imola is to mark the 30th anniversary of the deaths of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger in May. F1 returns for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after last year's cancellation following extensive flooding in the region, having last raced at the venue in 2022. The Automobile Club d'Italia has revealed ahead of the return that tributes will be held at the event to mark the deaths of both drivers. Ratzenberger was killed in qualifying when crashing at high speed at Villeneuve before Senna died following an incident at the old Tamburello early in the Grand Prix.
