Schumacher F1 'influence' impacting Verstappen

Back when father Jos Verstappen was racing at Benetton in 1994 as a substitute for JJ Lehto, the Dutchman knew that Schumacher would often receive preferential treatment over his teammates. “I think that Jos felt that Michael Schumacher had better material and was favoured,” said Watson in Dutch magazine Formule 1. “I had the impression that Jos had difficulties accepting that, because he also was a very gifted driver."
