Alonso highlights issue Aston Martin must fix
Article To news overview © XPBimages Fernando Alonso has urged Aston Martin to "widen the operating window" of its car in order to stop its fluctuation in performance. The Silverstone-based outfit began the season as Red Bull's nearest challenger as Alonso secured six podiums in the opening half of the campaign. But as rivals Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren have developed their cars, Aston Martin has slipped down the pecking order and now finds itself trying to stave off the advances of the Woking-based team for fourth in the Constructors' standings.
