Oscar Piastri's mum ready to throw out his trophies

Oscar Piastri's mum, Nicole, was quick to joke about her son's first Formula 1 podium, which he achieved last weekend at the Japanese Grand Prix. Piastri won't forget the Japanese GP for a very long time, with it having been a hugely memorable weekend for him. Ahead of the weekend at Suzuka, McLaren confirmed that Piastri had signed a contract extension with the side, keeping him in the papaya colours until at least the end of 2026. It means that Piastri will enter the new power unit regulations with the Woking-based team, something Lando Norris isn't contracted for yet (his deal ends on 2025). Want to work in Formula 1?
