Lawson admits to ‘no satisfaction’ over beating Tsunoda in Suzuka

Article To news overview © XPBimages Liam Lawson has admitted that he is not taking much satisfaction from the Japanese Grand Prix despite beating team-mate Yuki Tsunoda on the road. Lawson crossed the line in 11th place, missing out on points after scoring a P9 result last time out in Singapore, but is expected to be back in the car for the Qatar Grand Prix as Daniel Ricciardo is not thought to be fully 100% fit following his hand break. Tsunoda and Ricciardo were confirmed as the team's 2024 line-up meaning Lawson will not be on the grid in a Red Bull-backed seat despite calls for him to have one following his strong performances since stepping in for Ricciardo.
