Watch: Fan drops phone directly on Lando Norris' car
A video has circulated on social media showing a fan accidently dropping their phone into McLaren's pit box, whilst a pit-stop for Lando Norris is being completed. Odd things occasionally occur during a pit-stop, like wheels being forgotten or a car being released too soon, but definitely not falling mobile devices. This very thing appeared to happen at the British Grand Prix earlier in the year though, during qualifying according to the clip. Instagram account theformulameme posted a video they discovered of a fan dropping their phone whilst Norris enters his pit box to return to the garage, with the original clip having been captioned: 'My dad accidentally drops his phone on Lando Norris...
