Ferrari opposed Carlos Sainz's masterstroke
Sainz's decision to maintain a buffer behind Lando Norris, despite his team's doubts about his pace, proved to be a masterstroke. This victory also marked a significant milestone as Sainz became the first non-Red Bull driver to win a Formula 1 race in 2023.
