Lizard accusation fired at Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso has been accused of killing a lizard during Free Practice 1 at the Singapore Grand Prix, after an onboard clip started to circulate on social media. FP1 at the Marina Bay Circuit was a yellow flag-fest, but not for drivers making mistakes. Instead, a yellow flag was flown in sector two several times following few four-legged friends, in the form of Singapore water monitor lizards. One-by-one, a few lizards decided that they wanted to go across the circuit, something which was quickly spotted by reigning World Champion Max Verstappen, to which his race engineer suggested that Godzilla had a baby.
