Ganassi accuses McLaren of 'playing the victim' over Palou
The row between IndyCar teams Ganassi and McLaren over who gets the services of Alex Palou next season has continued to deepen over the weekend. McLaren CEO Zak Brown released a letter on Friday stating that the the current championship leader had stated his intention to stay at Ganassi next season despite having signed a contract with McLaren. Brown said Palou had received money in advance as well as time with the F1 operation as part of the deal, and that it was "bitterly disappointed to learn about Alex Palou’s decision to break an existing agreement with McLaren". But now team owner Chip Ganassi has responded to the claims, saying that Brown was “inaccurate and wrong”...
