Dutch Grand Prix fans to pay ‘fun tax'
Fans attending the highly anticipated Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort next year will have to dig a little deeper into their pockets, as a new ‘fun tax' will be implemented starting in 2024. The Zandvoort City Council, which governs the region where the race takes place, approved the decision this week, citing the need to cover expenses associated with managing the influx of visitors, including road closures, noise control, and waste management. While the tax will not be enforced until next year, fans attending the event in 2023 will be exempt from the additional fee.
