Max Verstappen comments on becoming an F1 team principal
Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen has hinted at potentially creating his 'own race team', although he's ruled out ever becoming a Formula 1 team principal. The Red Bull driver is currently obliterating the competition this season and is looking set to claim a third consecutive Drivers' Championship, after winning eight of the 10 completed races this season. Verstappen has, of course, spoken a lot over recent months about his life post-F1, which could begin as soon as 2029. The 25-year-old has admitted that he could retire from the sport once his long-term contract expires, especially if changes continue to be made to the championship's format and calendar.
