Red Bull claim Ferrari are blocking personnel switch
Whilst Max Verstappen was busy cruising to a third consecutive pole position of the season at the Spanish Grand Prix on Saturday, Red Bull and Ferrari are continuing to negotiate behind-the-scenes over what is necessary for the Scuderia's racing director Laurent Mekies to join AlphaTauri. Whilst everything is going beautifully on the circuit for the championship leaders, off the circuit it's currently anything but plain sailing. Mekies is set to become Red Bull's sister side's team principal in 2024; however, a deal is yet to be reached on when he'll actually be able to leave Maranello.
