FIA deliver hefty Gasly penalty after Spanish GP qualifying

Article To news overview © XPBimages Pierre Gasly has been handed a six-place grid penalty after being found guilty of impeding in Spanish Grand Prix qualifying. The Alpine driver delivered a fine performance to qualify fourth on the grid at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. But that fine work has been undone having been found to have twice impeded other drivers across the 60-minute session - first Carlos Sainz in the penultimate corner during Q1 and then Max Verstappen in the first sector later on.
