Daniil Kvyat returns to single-seater racing
Daniil Kvyat is set for a return to competitive single-seater racing as the Russian racing driver prepares for a test behind the wheel of NIO 333’s Formula-E car. Kvyat raced for Toro Rosso, Red Bull and, most recently, AlphaTauri, leaving the Formula 1 grid at the end of the 2020 season to become Alpine’s reserve driver. Since stepping away from Formula 1, Kvyat has raced in the FIA World Endurance Championship and NASCAR. Ahead of his test, Kvyat has participated in a simulator session for the Formula-E team and had a seat fitting. Want to work in Formula 1?
