Jos breaks silence on accusations he ‘abused' Max Verstappen

Following several accusations of having abused son Max Verstappen, ex-Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen has responded by saying that he 'never abused' the double World Champion and was simply 'hard' on the 25-year-old. Jos is certainly a character who is watched very closely by the media, mainly due to the fact that his son is currently the best driver on the grid. Max has been sensational since 2021, with the Red Bull driver having shown consistent improvement every season. Winning is the only thing which appears to satisfy the reigning World Champion, who openly admitted after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix that he wasn't happy to have finished second, rather than first.
