WATCH: Mercedes 'deliver' special package to Aston Martin

Article To news overview © XPBimages It wasn't quite Giancarlo Fisichella and Kimi Räikkönen on the starting grid at Imola in 2006, but Fernando Alonso's third place Formula 1 trophy has finally made its way (back) to him after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. The Aston Martin driver collected the silverware on the podium, but was forced to hand it over to George Russell after he was hit with a ten-second time penalty for incorrectly serving a five-second one earlier in the race. Hours after the trophy was handed to Russell, Alonso's penalty was wiped and third place reinstated.
